Yes. It's a real garden in the UK with a webcam that photographs it through the day. Every player's plot shows that same camera, and the garden diary is written automatically from its photos.

Your actions are played out in the game, where they earn points, streaks and energy. The most popular choices are carried out in the real garden by our gardener, so the community shapes what you see on the camera. Not every single action happens for real. With lots of players, the garden would be watered all day!

You must be 13 or older to create an account (UK users). UK data protection law means under-13s need a parent's consent to use online services like ours, so we don't accept under-13 sign-ups. If you're under 18, we recommend that a parent or guardian knows you're playing.

It hasn't been through a formal rating process such as PEGI, which is mainly used for games sold in shops and app stores. We've designed it to be suitable for everyone aged 13 and over: there's no violence, no bad language, no gambling or loot boxes, no chat and no purchases.

The camera is there to watch the garden. On our public pages, such as the homepage and the garden diary, we only show photos that the image analysis has already checked, and never ones it flags as possibly containing a person.

A few minutes once or twice a day is ideal. Your energy refills daily, one completed action a day keeps your streak alive, and wildlife collectibles only stay claimable for 20 minutes.

Suggestions from the camera expire after 72 hours, so you come back to what's happening now rather than a backlog of old jobs. Jobs you queue yourself never expire.

If the camera has seen heavy rain recently, watering is penalised because the soil is already soaked. Repeating the same action within an hour also costs extra. See how to play.
